The race will support two events of magnitude to celebrate this anniversary with the reception of France Biking Championships Marathon for one of the most beautiful stages of the national long-distance calendar. The marathon race cross-country long distance, as needed discipline popular ride, the more practiced in Europe. Intensive efforts without assistance, a challenge to the scope of most sports… a genuine return to the roots of all-terrain ".
In 2008, the Marathon race 83 km east well-understood open to all licensed FFC / UCI and unlicensed participants with a medical certificate within the required minimum age. However only the licensees of the 3rd category minimum appear to rank FFC Championships in France. The classification of the World Cup will bring together riders and teams UCI.
The categories for this 83 km race are : Men : from 19 years (taking into account the year of birth)
The establishment of rankings of the World Cup and Championships France MTB Marathon will be the following : SCRATCH MEN LADIES SCRATCH
Setting grid following the overall standings of the World Cup MTB Marathon, the UCI, the list of annual federal notoriety and regulation of France Biking Championships Marathon.
A classification for unlicensed FFC will also be made to enhance the presence of everyone in this competition.

All entries in the competition must take place before 30 septembre 2008 Last time. An increase of 5 € is required for applications sent after the 23 septembre 2008 (Stamped by the Post as proof).
The inscriptions on the spot will be possible but increased by 10 € as require the intervention of additional personnel, including the timing.
The Seating is limited for the whole of the event.
Beyond the deadline, registration will be refused and returned
for paper registration. We advise you to sign up quickly, in order to be able to participate and feature prominently on the starting grid.
It is noteworthy that in many cases, the inscriptions are denied.

The site of arrival and the village of the event lie the heart of Ornans 25 km from the capital comtoise Besancon, in the Parc de la Visitation to the tune of 7 Rue Edouard Bastide, the entire organization will be centralized.
The departure area is located a few dozen metres from the park on the street Jacques Gervais, to the Credit Mutuel.
A formal grid will be proposed, the ladies who claim to the front lines (see Registrations) will have to submit at least 20 minutes before departure.

Follow the direction of Lausanne - Pontarlier by R.N. 57 then Ornans and the Valley of the Loue by R.D. 67.

The Valley of the Loue is a strong temperament. Current from one bank to another of the Loue, its route offer exceptional views and ensure full security through the road cut.

The route of 80 km east of the bikers thirst for real nature and real mountain biking trails. .

A Hot Topic :
After crossing Montgesoye, mounted on Durnes is still too technical. The first ravitaillmeent past, the descent into Montgesoye and valley Tangelet leads quickly at the foot of the climb to second Echevannes, not without having dominated Vuillafans on the passage of ridges. The second refuelling past, the downhill and crossing Vuillafans leads us to Châteauvieux the Ditches.
A long way to the hillside leading to the village Lods then ascending the opposite side we raise on the heights of Mouthier-Hautepierre and more precisely on the Rock of Hautepierre the Chatelet. Following the third refueling, the circumvention of vertical cliffs by the royal road we will descend on the banks of Loue for crossing the bottom of the village of Mouthier and thus begin to lift the exceptional viewpoint of the Monk of the valley.
The path that follows crest passes through the fourth refuelling at Longeville. The return to the heights of Ornans and the fifth ravitaillment is by logging roads of Chantrans. The famous raid by Baume Bourla will be the ultimate moment of bravery before savouring the end of the rolling circuit.
Since these different promontories, nature provides us with a unique vision of the valley.
Must this trail : The vineyard Vuillafans doing back fallow land with 6.5 hectares of vineyards; The cascade of Syratu that you can overlook; The orchards Mouthier, capital of Kirsch, with the famous Kirsch of the Marsotte;

The Valley of the Loue is also of great architectural richness. At the detour roads, you discover : Ornans, Little Venice comtoise; Vuillafans, a small town dominated by the ruins of two medieval fortresses, but also glance at the mill blades pending in operation; Lods, ranked as one of the most beautiful villages of France; Mouthier-Haute-Pierre, village founded in the ninth century by the Benedictines in which one often forgets to enter, where they discovered the old houses and the Church of 15 and 16th centuries ...

For prizes awarded in each round (6 170 € - 9 250 CHF), there are also prizes awarded to the best in the overall standings which has 9 668 euros, of which
4 000 euros to the winner of the scratch.
